DESCRIPTION:In Fischerandom\, the arrangement of the pieces chosen at random\, subject to the king being between the rooks and the bishops on each color.  This give 960 possible starting positions.  Fischerandom removes opening preparation from the game and relies on opening principles - playing it is a great way to practice these. \nThis tournament will have five rounds.  Each player in the round gets the same piece arrangement.  Time control is 10+5.  Entry fee is $5\, and the games are not rated.  Notation and USCF membership are not required.  80% of the entry fees are awarded as prizes.  Games start at 7:30 P.M.

DESCRIPTION:A quad is a four-player round robin. You will play 3 games with people in your section. Time controls will be G/30;d5. Registration starts at 6:15. Entry fee is $30 per person. USCF membership is required and notation must be taken. The 1st 4 players registered for each section will be a quad. There will be more than 1 quad in each section if enough players are present. Please try to register early to guarantee you get a spot. \nRound 1 starts at 7pm. Rounds 2 & 3 will be 5 minutes after the last game is finished in your quad. \nPrizes are 1 entry to the 2022 Cincinnati Open per quad. Each entry is a $115 value. \nSections are as follows: \n\nChampionship section.
