DESCRIPTION:Join us for one game of G/60;d5. #1 seed plays #2\, 3 plays 4\, etc. Registration starts at 6:30 P.M. and games start at 7. This is a rated game; USCF membership is required\, and notation must be kept. If you have never played a Regular time control before\, this is a great way to get a feel for it. The entry fee $5 for Cincinnati Chess Club members and $10 for non-members\, and each game's winner gets $5 refunded. As always\, if you do not wish to play\, there will be casual boards set up. Please note that during the rated games\, a quiet atmosphere is expected.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2023 Cincinnati City Championship. We play one game per week\, on Friday nights\, at the Deer Park Municipal Building\, not our usual location. Tonight is the first of six rounds. \n\n\n\nThe tournament is six rounds of Swiss System\, with a time control of G/120;d5. As such\, you must take notation. These games are USCF-rated\, and requires a USCF membership. Games begin precisely at 7 P.M. Registration is the first night (tonight)\, from 6:15 to 6:45. \n\n\n\nEntry fee is $40\, and first and second places will be awarded prizes\, as well as class prizes. There are two sections: Open\, and Under 1600.  Computer tiebreaks will be used.
