Round 1 of the 2026  Club Championship.

The first round of the 2026 Cincinnati Chess Club Championship. Game starts at 7 PM.

All future round bye requests must be made to the TD  prior to  May 28th 6:30 PM. Two half point bye requests are allowed. Players who register after May 20th 7 PM - will still pay $45  fee but will have a half point point bye in Round 1 by default. Byes assigned by TD (example - as a result of odd pairings) will be a one point bye .

If you are scheduled to play in a round and don’t show up and don’t pre notify the Tournament Director by 5:00 PM on the day of the tournament you will not only forfeit that round but be withdrawn from the tournament. Your  entry fee will not be refunded.

All club championship games will be played at the Francis Healy Community Center located at 7640 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. There will be casual chess at City of Deerpark Municipal Building (Address: 7777 Blue Ash Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236) from 6:30 PM till 11 PM.
