2026 City Championship Round 2

This is the Round 2 of the 2026 City Championship. Time Control G120d5; Game starts at 7 PM. Chess set , clock and notation sheets will be provided.
Bye request for Round 2 shall need to be made by August 11 th 7 PM by texting TD.
All future round bye requests must be made to the TD prior to beginning of Round 2 on August 13 by texting TD.
If you are scheduled to play in a round and don’t show up and don’t pre notify the Tournament Director by 6:00 PM on the day of the tournament you will not only forfeit that round but be withdrawn from the tournament. Your entry fee will not be refunded.
70% of the entry fees will be paid as prizes. There will be two sections- Open section and U1600 section.

All City Championship games will be played at the Francis Healy Community Center located at 7640 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236.
There may be casual chess at the basement of City of Deer park Municipal Building located at 7777 Blue Ash Road, Deer Park, OH 45236. Please check with TD’s to confirm.
